Brown Baggin' it

So the new work environment leaves a bit to be desired.  I'm stationed NOT in Manhattan, but at the shop just outside of the city.  They say "eventually" I will have an office in the NY office, but for the first 6 months or so, I'll be doing the reverse commute.  Yuck.

So, that brings me to a little subject I call lunch.  In Manhattan, there are choices everywhere and I've gotten used to that!  Will it be Chinese or Indian today?  Chopt salad or Soupman?  Pizza or sushi?  At my new area?  Korean deli or Ghetto Deli?  Hmmmm.  It looks like I may be brown baggin it out of necessity rather than budget.  Pizza

Nothing wrong with brown baggin' it. Aside from cost and time of eating out everyday, packing your own will also normally be much healthier for you. Last year I tried to get out of as many lunch meetings as possible for one month. Saved about $200 and lost 12 pounds. (not a lot of healthy options in west MI).

I still take my brown bag to the office everyday, but there's a pint of Mad Dog 20/20 in it instead. ;^>
