Keeping in Touch is Good for the Soul

I’m starting this blog with this in mind.  I want to keep in touch better with friends and family.  We are so spread out and so much happens that I forget to share.  This should be good.

It’s also about keeping track of my life.  It is going so fast, it’s hard to remember… so an online journal is a good idea, right!??  I’ll try to keep it clean.  I’ll also try to share without getting to nervous about who’s reading.

I may also try to keep track of a few things that inspire me.  I may, on occasion, talk about knitting, or babies, or childbirth, or theater, or dieting, or finances, or a set I’ve worked on, or handbags, or a new restaurant, or… now that I think about it, you may never know what will come out of this blogging journal.  Hey, I’m looking forward to it.

As always, please feel free to comment or email me.  Even though I am nervous about your feedback, I’m also excited!  Bring it on.

So let this be the beginning of a beautiful blogging experience.

YES! Any journal is a good idea. I'd love to hear updates on the fam - but how cool to hear what inspires you or what excites Eliza or whatever the heck T is doing! I have a journal for myself, one for Sebastian and I'd love to have one here. Don't be nervous - lets argue and laugh and cry together (through a keyboard, alas, but what are you going to do when you're on two opposite ends of the country).

Here's to staying "close" - goodness for our souls.

So true.  I've never been a big journal writer and my creative writing skills, lately, have been down the tubes.  But, after looking around at other peoples blogs, the ones that inspired me were the ones that did more than catalog the mundane.  They had some poems, some images, and some serous musings, politics, etc. all worked in there.

I'm glad to have you here!  Totally create your own blog on this site.  It's so cool!
